James Spader’s newest drama, The Blacklist, broke DVR ratings record as they garnered 17.9 million viewers in its first week of release. The show was successful from the very start, having 11.4 million viewers during their first day of showing and then a 67 percent increase within a week, making them one the biggest gainers. Fox’s New Girl, was the biggest gainer for adults viewers with a whopping 85 percent increase. The second gainer was CBS’ Elementary, jumping a 77 percent increase. In third place is another Fox’s Comedy, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, with 73 percent.
