Fox's new serial killer drama 'The Following' starring Kevin Bacon is off to a good start, and could very well be the new model for TV networks moving forward. With Cable's The Walking Dead as the show to beat last year, and with The Following's respectable ratings, it does seem like viewers are wanting more than just the usual drama they see on TV, and are more drawn into cable's style of gory and out-of-this-world plots.
